We are Madam Sew, a company dedicated to supporting makers and sewists through thoughtfully designed sewing patterns, tools, and resources. Our growing community spans multiple platforms and includes hundreds of thousands of engaged members who rely on us for inspiration, guidance, and connection. We are seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to lead our online presence, strengthen brand visibility, and deepen engagement across our digital channels.
Key outcomes
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and conversions across multiple platforms.
- Create and curate platform-specific content, including images, videos, and captions, that reflect our brand voice and meet the expectations of each audience.
- Partner closely with the content manager to repurpose and distribute all Madam Sew content across social media channels in a consistent and strategic manner.
- Oversee daily management of our accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube, maintaining consistent branding, tone, and messaging.
- Track emerging trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and apply relevant insights to strengthen our presence.
- Engage directly with our community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns and promotions that align with broader marketing goals.
- Analyze performance data and key performance indicators to evaluate campaign effectiveness and refine strategies for continuous improvement.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with influencers, bloggers, and industry professionals to expand reach and increase brand visibility.
- Manage and monetize our Facebook groups, which include up to 250,000 members, by developing innovative engagement approaches and identifying revenue opportunities.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in social media management, with a proven track record of developing and executing multi-platform strategies.
- Strong skills in content creation, community engagement, analytics, and campaign management.
- Proficiency in managing and optimizing accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Experience working with large online communities, including groups with significant membership numbers.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, full-time capacity while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is 38000 to 46000. Benefits include remote work arrangements.
