SEO Content Marketing Specialist at Arc & Codementor

We're a small fast-paced team seeking an SEO Content Marketing Specialist to execute our content marketing strategy. This role is ideal for a proactive and skilled marketer who can create, optimize, and promote content that drives traffic and engagement. 

This is a full-time, remote role, 40hr/week. The candidate is ideally based in Asia, with minimum 6 hours overlapping with Taiwan time (GMT+8).

What you will be doing

Content Creation:  

• Write and publish engaging, SEO-optimized blog posts, articles, and other content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.  
• Develop long-form content targeting specific audiences and industries, addressing their pain points, needs, and interests.  
• Create content that supports our newsletter and social media

SEO and Keyword Optimization:  

• Implement on-page SEO best practices, including keyword placement, meta tags, and internal linking strategies.  
• Utilize SurferSEO to enhance content optimization and ensure it meets SEO guidelines.  

Backlink Acquisition:  

• Execute a strategy to build high-quality backlinks through guest blogging, partnerships, and outreach to relevant websites.  
• Monitor and report on backlink performance, making data-driven adjustments to enhance domain authority and search visibility.  

WordPress Management:  

• Use WordPress to create, format, and publish content, ensuring it is visually appealing and user-friendly.  
• Manage and update content within the WordPress platform, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and brand guidelines.  

Content Promotion:  

• Promote content across our channels including social media and email newsletter

Performance Tracking and Reporting:  

• Track key metrics such as organic traffic, engagement rates, and conversion rates to measure the effectiveness of content marketing efforts.  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in content marketing, particularly with startups or tech companies.  
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio showcasing a variety of content types.  
• Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SurferSEO, Google Analytics, Ahrefs) and WordPress.  
• Familiarity with AI content creation tools and techniques.  
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality work on time.  
• Familiarity with social media and email marketing platforms.

Salary 

$1200-$1400 USD per month
