We are looking for a Senior Web Designer to join our team and help us redefine how people experience rest. At Hatch, we create smart sleep devices and science-backed content that have already helped over 5 million people improve their sleep habits, and we are excited to have you help us build a world-class web presence that reflects our mission.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creative vision for Hatch.co, ensuring our web experience balances brand identity with performance goals.
- Develop and maintain our web design system to enable rapid testing and iteration alongside our engineering team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, growth, and marketing to design landing pages for new product launches.
- Translate customer needs and business objectives into polished, engaging digital designs.
- Act as a primary resource for web design strategy, research, and development handoff.
- Contribute to a vibrant team culture that values creativity, learning, and human-centered design.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience in web UX/UI design, supported by a strong portfolio.
- Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A solid understanding of component-based web development, specifically React and NextJS.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills.
- A deep grasp of design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, iconography, and layout.
- Ability to work during PST/PDT hours, as you must be based in the United States or Canada.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing for the wellness or connected devices industry.
- A passion for human-centered design approaches.
