Senior UX Designer at Nuna

We are dedicated to tackling one of our nation’s biggest challenges with ingenuity, creativity, and a strong moral compass. Over the last decade, we have established ourselves in the B2B space by shifting the healthcare system toward an incentive model that rewards positive outcomes. We are now building an innovative direct-to-consumer healthcare companion app designed to help patients manage chronic conditions and bridge the gap between home and their care teams. We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our growing team and help us shape the future of patient-centered design.

Key outcomes

• Lead the design of our direct-to-patient application, ensuring a seamless and joyful user experience.
• Develop data-driven, customer-centric innovations that improve patient engagement and growth.
• Advocate for a customer-first mindset across the organization while aligning design work with our core brand principles.
• Own design projects from initial exploration through to final, pixel-perfect execution.
• Partner with our Client Ops, Sales, and Marketing teams to create holistic service design initiatives that support both patients and care teams.
• Conduct generative and evaluative research to ensure we are building the right solutions for our users.
• Participate in a collaborative design culture by giving and receiving constructive feedback with your peers and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience designing end-to-end consumer applications.
• A robust portfolio that demonstrates high-quality digital product design for launched, large-scale products.
• Proven ability to design complex analytics products, including dashboards and data visualizations.
• A history of taking initiative and managing the full design process with high standards of polish, even under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated success in applying design strategy methodologies from initial discovery to final implementation.
• Proficiency in various research methods to inform design decisions, gather feedback, and validate solutions.
• Professional fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience working on healthcare-related products.

Compensation

The salary range for this full-time, on-site position is $168,000 to $190,000. We determine the final offer based on an individual's specific qualifications, years of experience, and skillset. Our benefits package includes medical insurance, life insurance, 401k retirement plans, equity compensation, and paid time off.
