Sibel Health is an award-winning digital health startup based in Chicago with an international presence in Seoul. We are dedicated to providing better health data for everyone, with a specific focus on supporting vulnerable patients like pregnant individuals and infants through advanced wireless monitoring. Our comprehensive solution integrates wearable technology, sophisticated software, and AI algorithms to support healthcare providers in 20 countries. We are currently seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer for a full-time, on-site role to help us continue our mission of improving patient lives through innovative design.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-centric interfaces for our mobile and web health applications using Figma, while creating detailed prototypes and UI flows that account for accessibility and edge cases.
- Lead and coordinate user research and usability testing throughout the product lifecycle to translate user insights into actionable design improvements and robust documentation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, system engineers, and product managers, to ensure design consistency and alignment with medical industry standards.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like Human-Centered Design, HCI, or Product Design, or at least 4 years of equivalent professional experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-level visual design taste and experience with both native mobile apps and responsive web applications.
- At least 4 years of experience using Figma, including advanced proficiency with auto-layout and component variants, alongside experience with tools like Adobe Illustrator.
- Proven experience leading usability studies and a background in designing interfaces for complex systems that involve hardware and software integration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
