We are looking for a Senior Staff Content Designer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. At Wealthfront, we are on a mission to build a financial system that favors people over institutions. We pioneered automated investing to provide sophisticated strategies at a fraction of the cost of traditional advisors, and we continue to expand our services to help clients build long-term wealth. As a key member of our design team, you will help define the strategy, vision, and language for a brand-new product line, working alongside cross-functional leaders to create experiences that are both delightful and clear.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end content strategy for a new business line, ensuring our language is consistent, empowering, and authentic across all customer touchpoints.
- Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, user research, and legal teams to solve complex challenges and shape high-quality product experiences for web and mobile.
- Mentor other content designers by introducing new frameworks, providing feedback on their work, and helping them scale their impact throughout the product development cycle.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with a deep passion for financial technology and a strong background in consumer software. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of professional experience in content design, specifically within consumer-facing technology companies.
- A robust portfolio that demonstrates your ability to tackle complex content challenges and deliver streamlined, user-friendly experiences for web and mobile platforms.
- Mastery of content standards, best practices, and a proven ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear, actionable product directions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse, cross-functional teams.
- A self-starting mindset with the resilience to navigate fast-paced environments and the desire to mentor others to raise the bar for design craft.
What we offer
