We are now expanding our engineering leadership in India and invite an accomplished engineering manager to guide the next phase of product innovation in a hybrid work setting.

Key outcomes

• Lead a distributed team of software developers and QA engineers across multiple locations, ensuring timely delivery of cybersecurity products.
• Guide architectural decisions and maintain a hands-on presence in coding, debugging, and technical reviews.
• Plan, schedule, and track project milestones while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Mentor team members through performance reviews, career planning, and skill development to build a high-performing organization.
• Champion a collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
• Allocate resources effectively and coordinate with stakeholders to translate requirements into delivered features.
• Present clear status reports, risk assessments, and outcome summaries to senior leadership.
• Oversee the AWS cloud environment and advance DevOps practices to optimize performance and cost.
• Define and execute a test-automation strategy that raises overall software quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least ten years of software-development experience with a record of delivering production systems.
• Four or more years of experience managing software teams, including direct people-management responsibilities.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React, SQL, Elastic Search, and AWS.
• Demonstrated success leading engineering teams within a start-up, including the ability to manage competing priorities under tight timelines.
• Strong grounding in Agile and Scrum methodologies together with proven project-management skills.
• Passion for cybersecurity and an active interest in emerging threat landscapes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking around hiring and team growth.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills in English.
