We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team at NinjaTech AI in Sydney. As a generative AI startup with offices in Silicon Valley, Vancouver, and Australia, we are building SuperNinja, an advanced agentic AI platform capable of full OS tasks like automated coding and data analysis. Our team is backed by Samsung Ventures and the Alexa Fund, and we are currently preparing for our Series A funding round in 2025. This full-time, on-site role focuses on frontend development using React and Next.js, where you will work alongside our founding engineering team to create interactive web applications and sophisticated AI systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-performance features for our web applications while ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience.
Write clean, efficient code using React, Next.js, and Python, while maintaining rigorous standards through automated testing and continuous integration.
Collaborate closely with our product managers and engineering team to define technical requirements and integrate RESTful APIs and web sockets for robust backend communication.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional software development experience, specifically building scalable web applications.
Expert-level proficiency in React, along with strong skills in Next.js and Python.
Practical experience with AWS Cloud services and building microservices within a service-oriented architecture.
Deep understanding of the full web development lifecycle, version control with Git, and Agile methodologies.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
