At our health tech company, we build an analytics platform that helps hospitals and care teams turn complex patient and billing data into clear, actionable insights. Our team combines engineering excellence with domain expertise to improve how healthcare organizations understand their operations and deliver better outcomes. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack who will help us scale and strengthen this platform while working fully remotely with colleagues across different time zones.
What you'll be doing
- Refine the analytics engine so it can surface more detailed insights from patient records by applying advanced statistical methods and our own internal tools.
- Optimize recurring calculations and improve how data moves through storage and transmission layers to support deeper analysis at every step of the pipeline.
- Refactor core architecture for better maintainability, test coverage, and cost efficiency while integrating Single Sign-On across our applications and building a regression testing framework into the analytics stack.
What you'll bring
- 7–10 years of full-stack development experience, with strong emphasis on backend and cloud-native work.
- Expert-level Python skills and hands-on experience writing Node.js functions for AWS Lambda.
- Proficiency with React for frontend development and deep familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, Amplify, Cognito, Step Functions, and CDK.
- Experience designing and running ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Airflow and dbt, plus solid knowledge of Postgres, DynamoDB, and Snowflake.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field-or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven ability to solve problems independently in a fast-paced remote setting, along with clear communication and collaboration skills.
- Health-tech experience, especially with hospital billing systems, is a strong plus.
We work primarily with React, Next.js, GraphQL, Python and data-science libraries such as pandas, Elasticsearch, and a full range of AWS services.
