We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Social Media Manager to architect and lead our social media presence, driving ecosystem growth and community engagement at a global scale. Responsibilities:

• Develop and Own the Global Social Media Strategy: Architect, implement, and continuously optimize a comprehensive social media strategy across all key channels (with a strong emphasis on X/Twitter, LinkedIn) for DFINITY and Internet Computer handles to significantly enhance brand visibility, thought leadership, and organic growth.
• Lead Content Creation & Execution: Oversee the creation and curation of compelling, high-impact digital content and copy tailored to specific audiences and platform nuances. Drive innovation in content formats and storytelling.
• Strategic Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Marketing, Communications, Product, Engineering, and Executive teams to ensure social media is effectively integrated into broader campaigns and communication initiatives, aligning messaging and maximizing reach.
• Campaign Leadership & Calendar Management: Design, manage, and optimize complex, multi-channel social media campaigns, ensuring flawless execution against strategic objectives and maintaining a sophisticated content calendar.
• Data-Driven Performance & Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish robust analytics frameworks. Regularly analyze social insights and media analytics, providing strategic recommendations and actionable reports to internal stakeholders, demonstrating ROI and impact on metrics like social dominance, share of voice, and engagement quality.
• Influencer & Community Strategy: Develop and nurture strategic relationships with key social media influencers, thought leaders, and community advocates within the Web3 ecosystem to amplify reach and build a powerful network.
• Brand Stewardship & Visual Excellence: Collaborate with the Design team to ensure all social media assets are on-brand, visually compelling, and strategically aligned with campaign goals and overall brand identity.
• Mentorship & Best Practices: Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, potentially mentoring junior team members or guiding agency partners.

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of progressive experience in social media management, with a significant focus on strategic planning and execution for tech-focused companies (strong preference for Web3/blockchain experience).
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful, data-driven social media strategies that demonstrably grew engagement, followership, and brand presence.
• Deep expertise in leveraging X (Twitter) for brand building, community engagement, and thought leadership.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to craft nuanced messaging for diverse audiences.
• Strategic mindset combined with adaptability and a strong execution focus, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about blockchain technology and the future of Web3, ideally with significant professional experience in the field.
• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and advanced social analytics platforms.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence in Zurich 3 days per week.
