The role
We are looking for a Senior Segment Marketing Manager to join our team on a contractor basis. This is a senior-level position based on-site in the United Kingdom, Germany, or France. You will lead our solution marketing efforts for specific European segments, such as commercial fleets and solution partners, ensuring our value propositions are clearly understood and effectively communicated to drive growth across these markets.
Core responsibilities
- Lead solution marketing launches: Conduct deep market research to understand customer pain points and preferences, then craft resonant messaging that highlights the unique value of our charging solutions.
- Define segment strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for your assigned segments by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and regional marketing.
- Create targeted content and campaigns: Partner with design and growth teams to produce high-impact collateral, such as whitepapers and sales playbooks, while adapting materials to suit the cultural and regulatory nuances of different European countries.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in B2B marketing and a passion for the electric vehicle industry. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience in product marketing, particularly within B2B software, electrical hardware, or B2B services.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in French is highly preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with technical expertise or an MBA considered a significant plus.
- A track record of successful product launches and the ability to provide examples of your past marketing work.
