Position Description:

Wade Trim's team of 20 marketing professionals support business development for four client market segments - Water Resources; Municipal Services; Industrial, Commercial, and Energy; and Transportation. Rapid growth is creating a need to expand our staff and this position offers opportunities for advancement. We strive to create proposals and presentations that are client-centric, rather than firm-focused, and are easy to read and visually appealing. We believe customized business development efforts fuel personal growth in staff and propel the firm's growth.

We are looking for a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our Marketing team. This position can sit in Detroit, Flint or Taylor, MI; Cleveland, OH; and Orlando or Tampa, FL. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in marketing, English, communications or humanities and at least ten years of marketing experience in the A/E/C industry. Excellent organizational, facilitation, communication, writing and editing skills are critical. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Suite is also required.

Typical responsibilities include:

Lead teams in development of persuasive proposals and presentations that differentiate Wade Trim from its competitors

Use and help maintain Cosential marketing database to track pursuit activities and store qualifications used in proposals

Support engineers in business development efforts to position Wade Trim for work

Mentor and support members of the marketing team

Maintain excellent client relations

Maintain a safe working environment

Education:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, communications or humanities.

Skills/Experience:

10+ years of related experience required

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint with an eye for page layout and presentation design is required
