The role

We are seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our marketing team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that supports business development across our four primary market segments, including water resources, municipal services, industrial and energy, and transportation. This role is available as a hybrid position, with opportunities to work from our offices in Detroit, Flint, or Taylor, Michigan; Cleveland, Ohio; or Orlando or Tampa, Florida.

Core responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in the creation of persuasive proposals and presentations that effectively differentiate our firm from competitors.
• Collaborate with and support our engineers in their business development efforts to successfully position the firm for new project opportunities.
• Provide mentorship and ongoing support to other members of the marketing team to foster collective growth and high-quality output.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in marketing and a commitment to high-quality communication. Our requirements include:

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, communications, or a humanities-related field.
• At least ten years of relevant marketing experience specifically within the A/E/C industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and the Microsoft Suite, with a keen eye for page layout and presentation design.
• Exceptional organizational, facilitation, writing, and editing skills.
