Senior Product Engineer at Kickoff

We are Kickoff, and we are on a mission to make preventative health accessible to everyone through our AI-powered wellness platform that combines expert human coaching with smart technology. Our team of ten is currently supporting over 1,000 active coaches and has already helped more than 100,000 clients reach their health goals. Having raised $11 million, we are now building a new product in stealth mode to further our impact. We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity in our Soho, New York office. This role is perfect for someone who wants to own significant parts of our product and help shape the future of personalized wellness.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced AI tools like Cursor, Windsurf, and Lovable to design, build, and deploy solutions with high velocity.
• Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, including debugging and refining our codebase while advocating for the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies across the company.
• Solve complex, human-centric problems by collaborating with coaches and customers to build features that improve workout personalization, nutritional feedback, and wearable data analysis.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong background in full stack development and React.
• Proven ability to build and ship AI-powered features, including a track record of using modern AI developer tools to create end-to-end solutions.
• A product-minded approach with a keen eye for design and a deep interest in fitness, nutrition, and preventative health.
• A startup mindset characterized by high agency, low ego, and a desire to work in a collaborative, in-person environment.
