Senior Product Designer at HighFi

At HighFi we are building a generative AI platform that helps fintech lenders replace slow, Excel-heavy capital markets workflows with a single, unified system. Our founders include Tanay Delima, who previously co-founded the unicorn Clearco, and we are backed by Jeremy Solomon of Nyca Partners, a former finance leader at Affirm, Lending Club, and SoFi. We are a small, tight-knit group of product, operations, and engineering teammates working from a private office in Toronto, where daily catered lunches fuel both collaboration and our shared passion for reshaping an industry ready for change.

What you'll be doing

• Partner closely with engineering and stakeholders to craft a cohesive, intuitive experience across the entire platform.
• Lead user research initiatives that uncover customer needs and translate complex financial workflows into clear, engaging interfaces.
• Own the end-to-end design process-from wireframes and prototypes through high-fidelity visuals-while establishing and evolving our design system and brand guidelines.

What you'll bring

• At least five years of product design experience, ideally within fintech or other B2B environments, and a portfolio that demonstrates impact on responsive web products.
• Strong command of UX and UI practices, including wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing, paired with expert-level skill in Figma.
• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining design systems that improve consistency and reduce effort for both design and engineering teams.
• Clear, confident communication skills that let you collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teammates alike, plus the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving setting.
• English fluency is required; familiarity with front-end engineering or graphic design is viewed as a plus.
