The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Experience team and serve as a champion for our users and our brand. In this role, you will report to the Director of Product Design and work closely with our product, engineering, marketing, and data teams. You will be responsible for crafting visually stunning, intuitive experiences that support pet owners, veterinary professionals, and our internal claims adjusters. This is a hybrid position based in New York City, requiring you to be in the office 2 to 3 days per week. You will play a pivotal role in prioritizing strategic initiatives and executing product enhancements that drive our mission forward.

A day in the life

• You will conduct user research and usability testing to gather actionable insights, synthesizing your findings to validate design decisions and improve our product effectiveness.
• You will design high-fidelity work, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual comps, that maintain our brand identity while ensuring all interfaces are accessible and ADA compliant.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional partners in an agile environment to define product requirements, ensuring that we deliver top-tier, polished features within our two-week sprint cadence.

Who you are

You are a creative problem solver with at least 5 years of professional experience in an in-house or startup setting. You have a strong command of design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, and you know how to translate complex user needs into beautiful, functional interfaces. You thrive in collaborative environments and have a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to launch software at scale. You are comfortable working in lean, fast-paced teams and are eager to mentor junior designers while contributing to the evolution of our design systems.
