The opportunity

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping the tools that software engineers and operators rely on every day. Our users range from individual developers experimenting with video features to streaming experts managing massive live events. You will be responsible for the entire user journey, ensuring that our dashboard, documentation, and integration workflows are intuitive and powerful. This is a unique chance to influence the future of streaming video by designing innovative solutions that help our users move faster and create successful applications.

A day in the life

• You will guide the full product development lifecycle, including initial planning, user research, prototyping, and final shipping.
• You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define roadmaps that balance business strategy with a seamless user experience.
• You will lead discovery sessions with customers to understand their technical needs, perform user research, and iterate on designs based on real-world feedback.

Who you are

You are a seasoned designer with a strong technical mindset and a passion for developer-focused products. You bring a blend of design expertise and practical development knowledge that allows you to bridge the gap between user needs and technical implementation.

• You have at least 4 years of product design experience and a total of 6 years working in product, design, or engineering roles.
• You are comfortable working with front-end technologies like React and JavaScript, and you enjoy using data to inform your decisions, including creating visualizations with D3.
• You are an effective communicator who can drive an open, transparent design process, even when working as the sole designer on a project.
• You have a proven track record of shipping products, testing prototypes with customers, and iterating toward improvement.
• You are fluent in English and thrive in collaborative environments where you can help those around you grow.
