About your role 👀
- Collaborate alongside our PMs and amazingly talented engineers to ideate, spec, design and implement beautiful solutions that forever change how people network
- Design world class experiences that anyone can use by constantly thinking from first principles
- Work across our core touch points, designing end to end journeys from discovery to execution on Android, iOS and web
- Design for both our consumer and business users
- Develop deep user empathy, envision how people should interact with Blinq and bring that vision to life in a way that feels magical
- Launch, analyze and iterate on designs based on tight feedback loops with customers and your teams
- Define and evolve our overall company brand, voice and tone
- Contribute to developing a robust design system to enable rapid iteration
- The success of our product is heavily dependent on great design, so you will play a critical role within the team. We are looking for people that are constantly learning from the products around them and are obsessed with making highly intuitive beautiful applications.
What We Are Looking For
- You have 5+ years of product design experience shipping consumer-facing products and apps that people love.
- Exceptional product design skills and impeccable taste in visual design.
- You are constantly learning from the best in class products on the market.
- You're independent and able to take initiative. You're excited about owning projects from start to finish.
- Strong user empathy without bias. You're able to put yourself into the shoes of our users - even those that might be very different from you.
- Proficiency designing across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Desktop, Mobile Web).
- Experience in having worked in or closely with a Design System.
- You’re able to make near-term tradeoffs and shortcut traditional design processes to get something out the door quickly, whilst keeping in mind how we can evolve the design over time.
- You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and communicate the reasoning behind each of your design decisions.
