The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team and focus on our farmer-facing MRV product. In this role, you will shape the digital experience for farmers as they enroll in programs designed to improve land health and reduce their carbon footprint. You will help build tools that simplify the collection of land management data, clarify program eligibility, and track progress toward sustainability goals. Reporting directly to our CTO, you will work in a fully remote environment, collaborating closely with colleagues and customers across the United States and Australia. Because of our cross-continental collaboration, we highly prefer candidates based in the PST time zone.
A day in the life
- You will lead the design process by creating wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, and high-fidelity prototypes, while presenting your work during design reviews to cross-functional stakeholders.
- You will conduct user research through discovery interviews to uncover the specific pain points and goals of our users, ensuring our solutions are both intuitive and effective.
- You will partner with product managers and developers to advocate for design-centered improvements, using both qualitative and quantitative feedback to iterate on features after they are released.
Who you are
You are a seasoned designer who understands the balance between complex technical requirements and user-friendly interfaces. We are looking for someone who brings the following experience to our team:
- A strong background in designing consumer products with a heavy emphasis on usability.
- Experience designing products specifically for farmers, with extra consideration given to those who have worked with MRV platforms or precision agriculture applications.
- A proven track record of thriving in a remote, fast-paced startup environment, particularly within Series A, B, or C stages.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively with our global team.
