Based in the vibrant tech hub of Cambridge, our team is currently looking for a talented Senior Principal Audio Designer to help us nurture our existing portfolio and bring our ambitious future roadmap to life.
Role at a glance
This is a full-time, senior-level position focused on the creative and technical direction of our game audio. If you are not currently local, we offer a comprehensive relocation support package to help you make the move.
Your impact
- Take full ownership of complex audio assets, ensuring they align perfectly with the overall creative vision of our games.
- Act as a bridge between departments by facilitating cross-discipline collaboration and managing project bottlenecks to keep feature delivery on track.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members while occasionally managing smaller teams or specific feature areas to elevate our collective output.
What you'll need
- Extensive professional experience in game audio or a closely related sound design field.
- A proven track record of shipping multiple projects that required deep collaboration with other departments like animation and UI.
- Expert-level proficiency with DAWs, specifically Reaper, and a strong grasp of interactive audio systems.
- The ability to articulate a creative vision and inspire your peers to push the boundaries of user experience and audio quality.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Wwise middleware, a background in people management, or a genuine passion for Frontier’s library of games.
