We are looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to join our Applied Engineering team on a full-time, remote basis. Deepgram is the leading voice AI platform for developers, providing state-of-the-art speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and speech-to-speech capabilities. With over 200,000 developers building on our models and 400+ enterprise customers, we are at the forefront of the voice AI revolution. We operate with an AI-first mindset, and we are looking for someone who is excited to experiment with new technologies and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions and design custom solutions that address the specific needs of our enterprise prospects and partners.
- Architect and build compelling proof-of-concepts and technical demonstrations to showcase the value of our platform to technical decision-makers.
- Collaborate with our sales team to provide expert guidance on API integrations, performance optimization, and deployment strategies while navigating complex technical objections.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions architecture, or a similar customer-facing engineering role.
- A strong software engineering background with professional experience in modern programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Proven success in managing complex technical sales cycles and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
- A deep interest in AI, speech recognition, and API-first product development.
