The role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will take ownership of the critical systems that support our platform beyond the core editor, including authentication, billing, onboarding, and various integrations. You will play a vital role in shipping production features that directly impact our users and ensure our infrastructure scales effectively as we grow.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and maintain essential platform features, such as user onboarding, settings, authentication, and billing systems.
• Manage the integration and ongoing maintenance of third-party APIs, including services like Stripe, Firebase, and various analytics tools.
• Enhance the reliability and performance of our core platform flows while implementing robust observability, logging, and error-tracking standards.

Skills and experience

We are looking for someone with a strong technical background who thrives in an autonomous, remote environment. Your qualifications should include:

• At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping full-stack web applications.
• Deep proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience working with cloud hosting environments and a solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex, cross-system issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with a preference for candidates who have experience in multi-tenant SaaS environments or startup settings.
