What we’re hiring for:  

Episode Six is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager for Japan with a passion for technology to join our internal marketing team. 

The E6 marketing team has a fantastic story to tell, and we’re telling it daily across social, digital, PR, events, lead gen, and marketing collateral. As a member of this close-knit team, you’ll be a key part of building the E6 brand, and you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in projects throughout the process and build the E6 brand.  

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:  

• Drive brand awareness through public relations and marketing activities. 
• Collaborate with the Japan sales team to understand customer needs, market dynamics, and sales goals. 
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans tailored to the Japanese market and sales objectives. 
• Collaborate with the global marketing team to create sales enablement materials, including presentations, case studies, and product collateral tailored to the Japanese market, including some marketing-specific editing and translation. 
• Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders. 
• Plan and coordinate events, including conferences, webinars, and workshops, to connect with potential customers and partners. 
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all marketing activities adhere to regional regulations. 
• Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and potential collaborators in Japan. 

What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:  

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus. 
• Proven experience in B2B marketing in Japan. 
• Strong understanding of payments, fintech, SaaS, or related industries. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute successful marketing campaigns. 
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 
• Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, including Hubspot, Monday, SEM Rush. 
• Business level English or above.
