At JOLT, we are on a mission to make the global transition to electric vehicles faster, easier, and simpler. We believe electric vehicles are essential to a future powered by renewable energy, which is why we are building a large-scale network of free, 100% renewable-powered charging stations. By making charging more convenient and affordable, we are actively accelerating the shift toward sustainable transportation.
The role
We are looking for a Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position based at our global headquarters in Sydney, with a requirement for regular travel to New Zealand. You will be a foundational member of our growing global marketing team, working in a hybrid capacity that balances office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive B2B and B2C marketing and communications strategies across Australia and New Zealand to drive brand growth and customer engagement.
- Manage brand identity and creative asset development by working closely with agencies and designers to ensure all collateral aligns with our standards.
- Utilize data analytics and market research to inform strategic decision-making, optimize marketing performance, and effectively position our brand for diverse stakeholder groups, including media partners, government entities, and EV drivers.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in marketing, commercial advertising strategy, or digital media.
- A proven ability to leverage complex data trends to inform and optimize marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative global team.
- Experience executing campaigns across various channels, including out-of-home, digital, mobile, and direct customer communications.
- A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine passion for green energy and the electrification of transport.
