Beyond our seasonal collections and collaborations, we are deeply committed to mental health advocacy through our non-profit, The Madhappy Foundation, and our print magazine, Local Optimist. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager of Email & SMS Marketing to join our team in Los Angeles and take full ownership of our lifecycle programs.
What you'll be doing
- Own the end-to-end strategy and execution for our email and SMS channels, utilizing Klaviyo to drive customer retention and first-time purchase conversions.
- Build, schedule, and deploy comprehensive campaigns and automated flows while utilizing advanced customer segmentation and A/B testing to refine performance.
- Collaborate closely with our creative, e-commerce, and data teams to manage our content calendar and ensure our lifecycle strategies remain consistent across all channels.
What you'll bring
You have 4 to 6 years of experience in email and SMS marketing, ideally within the DTC or e-commerce sectors. You are a self-starter who is comfortable taking full ownership of a channel, and you possess the following qualifications:
- Deep expertise in Klaviyo or similar ESP and SMS platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance metrics into actionable improvements.
- Proven experience in developing lifecycle strategies and managing complex customer segmentation.
- A creative eye and a highly organized approach to managing multiple deadlines and campaigns.
- Fluency in English.
