We are Avara, a company dedicated to building a people-powered internet that benefits everyone. Our work centers on innovative blockchain technologies, including the Aave Protocol, the GHO stablecoin, the Lens open social network, and our design-focused mobile crypto wallet, Family. We are currently looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based in the United Kingdom and operates on a hybrid model. You will work within our marketing function to create high-impact visuals that support our brand campaigns, product launches, and community initiatives, reporting directly to our VP of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end execution of design projects, handling everything from initial research and conceptualization to the delivery of final assets for both digital and physical platforms.
- Develop visually striking content for a variety of touchpoints, such as social media channels, advertisements, landing pages, and product announcements.
- Collaborate with our internal team of motion designers and illustrators to ensure our storytelling is cohesive and effective across multiple formats.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a senior or staff-level design role, specifically within fast-paced, high-growth companies.
- A strong portfolio that highlights your expertise in layout design, typography, and the development of cohesive brand identities.
- Advanced proficiency in core design tools, specifically Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A solid understanding of digital design principles, including accessibility, responsive systems, and performance optimization.
- The ability to communicate complex concepts through engaging visuals, such as infographics and pitch materials.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
