The opportunity

We are searching for a Senior Game Scout to join our PC and Console publishing team based in Leamington Spa. In this role, you will be a key player in finding, evaluating, and securing the next big hits for our portfolio. You will act as a bridge between Kwalee and the developer community, forging long-term partnerships that drive our growth and profitability. This is a full-time, on-site position that will also involve regular national and international travel to represent our team at industry events.

A day in the life

• Identify high-quality PC and Console titles by leveraging your industry research, market insights, and deep knowledge of the gaming landscape.
• Lead and mentor a team of Publishing Scouts and Evangelists to ensure our scouting strategies remain effective and competitive.
• Build and nurture a vast network of developer contacts while managing the due diligence process for potential publishing deals.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with at least 3 years of experience in video game scouting or business development. You have a proven track record of successfully signing deals and winning business in a competitive environment. You possess a strong grasp of industry legal frameworks and understand how to structure win-win scenarios for all parties involved. You are fluent in English, highly proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM management software, and you excel at networking. You are comfortable working on-site in our Leamington Spa office and are excited about the prospect of traveling internationally to connect with developers.
