At Arbital Health, we are transforming the American healthcare system by accelerating the transition from fee-for-service models to value-based care. We are building a neutral, third-party platform that empowers our customers to design, measure, and adjudicate complex agreements, ultimately ensuring patients receive the high-quality care they deserve. We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our founding team and help us build this innovative product from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Develop and scale our healthcare data and analytics platform using Python, Databricks, and AWS to process large volumes of complex medical claims.
- Partner closely with our actuarial science team to integrate their workflows and data analysis into our platform.
- Take ownership of the full product lifecycle, from initial design and MVP development to scaling and maturing features.
- Drive innovation by delivering high-caliber, reliable code that directly impacts our customers and the healthcare industry.
- Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Must-haves
- Proven experience in full-stack development with a demonstrated ability to build products from scratch and scale them effectively.
- Strong technical proficiency in Python, React, NextJS, and Tailwind.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure and data tools, specifically AWS, Databricks, Heroku, and Tableau.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, with a preference for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area who can work from the office once per week, or remote candidates willing to travel for in-person collaboration.
