Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere in the world, provided you can align with our core coordination hours. You will be instrumental in building core features for Poe, working in a fast-paced environment where your code will reach millions of users daily.

Your impact

• Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver intuitive, AI-driven features from the initial concept through to final launch.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and data scientists to create seamless user experiences across our full web technology stack.
• Champion high-quality engineering standards by mentoring team members and promoting sustainable, scalable code practices.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of professional experience building consumer-facing web products.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Strong proficiency in Python or similar backend languages.
• Practical experience working with storage systems like MySQL, Memcached, or Redis.
• The ability to collaborate effectively during our core coordination hours, which are Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm Pacific Time.
• Fluency in English to ensure clear communication across our global team.

Perks and compensation
