The role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United Kingdom. This is a senior-level position for someone who is passionate about building tools that enhance the capabilities of our internal teams. You will take ownership of features, work closely with our product team, and engage directly with internal users to design, develop, and iterate on solutions.

Core responsibilities

• Take ownership of features and small-scale projects, managing the entire lifecycle from initial design through to deployment.
• Develop end-to-end solutions using Python and Django for the backend and Vue.js for the frontend, utilizing Docker and GCP for deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, sales, and data experts, while mentoring junior engineers to support their professional growth.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Solid professional experience as a software developer with a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals.
• High proficiency in Python and familiarity with front-end frameworks, preferably Vue.js.
• A proven track record of independently owning and delivering technical features.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to writing maintainable, well-tested code.
