At APOLLO, we are transforming the way people access protection by serving as Canada’s largest digital-first insurance company. Since our launch in 2019, we have replaced the traditionally slow and painful insurance process with immediate, digital fulfillment for tenants and small businesses. We are a team of driven individuals working to disrupt a five trillion dollar global industry, and we invite you to join us in building a company that values courage, integrity, and a desire for greatness.
The role
We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Director to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is an executive-level position perfect for a leader who thrives in a remote-first environment and wants to make a tangible impact on our growth. You will be at the forefront of our e-commerce strategy, using data and innovation to refine how we connect with our B2B and B2C audiences.
Core responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of CRM marketing lifecycle campaigns while establishing best practices for conversion and funnel optimization.
- Manage our PPC and SEO initiatives, ensuring our campaigns align with broader business strategies and priorities.
- Partner with our Technology, Product, and Sales teams to optimize the user journey and purchase experience, including the cross-selling of financial products.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should bring a deep understanding of the digital retail landscape and a passion for data-driven decision-making. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technologies and a proven track record of executing large-scale digital strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data to drive business growth.
- A degree in business or marketing, or an equivalent level of professional education.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services sector, as well as SaaS experience, is considered a significant asset.
Compensation and benefits
We are proud to offer a supportive work environment that values your well-being and professional development. Our benefits include:
- A remote-first culture that allows you to work from anywhere.
- Comprehensive extended medical, dental, and vision care.
- Access to professional development programs and licensing support.
- A monthly wellness program and company social events.
- Opportunities to give back through community volunteer days.
