Job Summary  

We’re seeking a Senior Graphic Designer for a 6-month maternity cover contract.You will be a key contributor to our marketing efforts, working across the business to bring creativity and strategic thinking to the visual representation of our brand. You will create assets with high visual impact that bring our communications alive. Working on a variety of projects, including, editorial layout, infographics, presentations, email & social assets and website landing pages. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in graphic design, a deep understanding of design principles, and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing and engaging materials. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Visual Branding: Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity for Poppulo,  ensuring alignment with the brand guidelines across all design assets 
• Collateral Creation: Design compelling marketing collateral, including but not limited to website graphics, landing pages, social media assets, email templates, infographics, whitepapers, and presentations. 
• Illustrations: Collaborate with product and marketing teams to create visually appealing illustrations that effectively communicate product features and benefits. 
• Campaign Design: Conceptualize and execute creative designs for marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with the overall marketing strategy and objectives. 
• Print Design: Create visually impactful print materials such as brochures, banners, and promotional materials for events and trade shows. 
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content, product marketing, channels, and sales, to understand design requirements  
• Stay Updated: Lead the evolution of our brand design system and keep abreast of industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of design deliverables. 
• Organisation: Manage multiple projects ranging in size and scope simultaneously 
• Leadership: Review junior designers or contractual designers creative work to ensure high-quality deliverables 

Education & Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. 
• 6+ years of proven experience in Graphic Design + Marketing/Advertising/Agency experience with a strong portfolio 
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). 
• Experience in UI/UX design and familiarity with design tools such as Sketch or Figma 
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and justify design concepts. 
• Previous experience working in a SAAS or technology-driven environment is a plus. 
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, while happy to take and action feedback 
• Great organisational skills 
• Highly collaborative and able to thrive in a geographically distributed environment 
• High-quality design standards and attention to detail are crucial for this role

Preferred Skills:  

• Animation and motion graphic design skills. 
• Familiarity with video editing tools.
