Senior Design Technologist at ThreeFlow

At ThreeFlow, we are on a mission to revolutionize the insurance ecosystem by creating a unified platform that connects brokers and carriers. We are looking for a Senior Design Technologist to join our remote team and lead the development of our first official design system, helping us build a scalable and delightful user experience for our growing enterprise software.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of building our design system from the ground up, including the management of tokens, components, and system governance.
• Collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product designers, and stakeholders to drive adoption and ensure seamless integration across the organization.
• Champion high-quality user experiences by continuously iterating on the system to meet evolving user needs.
• Develop front-end tooling and maintain a reusable component library that prioritizes scalability and developer experience.
• Establish a clear vision for the design system and create patterns that are easy for other teams to implement and maintain.
• Participate in daily team rituals such as stand-ups, design critiques, and requirement reviews.

Must-haves

• Proven experience building or significantly contributing to a complex design system.
• Expertise in Vue.js 3 and the PrimeVue component library.
• Strong proficiency in CSS architecture and design tokens.
• Experience using Figma and mapping design tokens to development workflows.
• Familiarity with component library tools like Storybook.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between design and engineering teams.
• A track record of leading large, cross-functional projects independently.
