Senior Data Analyst at Proxima

At Proxima we build an AI-powered data intelligence platform that gives B2C companies access to insights from a proprietary database of more than 60 million shopper personas. As a Senior Data Analyst you will turn that data into clear recommendations that shape product direction and help our clients grow.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced data manipulation and extraction techniques to keep our pipelines efficient.
• Use Python and statistical tools to surface deeper insights from large data sets.
• Define and refine KPIs that measure the real impact of business decisions.
• Build clear, compelling visualizations that make complex findings easy to act on.
• Partner with clients to understand their data needs and deliver reports that support revenue growth.
• Customize presentations for both internal stakeholders and external customers, translating data into actionable stories.
• Collaborate daily with Product, Engineering, and Sales to expand data access and democratize insights across the company.
• Contribute Python-driven features that improve how users interact with our data products.

Must-haves

• At least six years of hands-on experience as a Data, BI, or Product Analyst.
• Strong background in data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation.
• Advanced SQL skills, ideally with Postgres or Redshift experience.
• Proven ability to work with large data sets and Python for statistical analysis.
• Extensive experience with data-visualization and BI tools.
• Track record of building scalable processes that generate reliable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English.
