What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Community Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will own the community function, serving as the primary bridge between our development team and our players. You will report directly to the VP of Marketing at Megabit Publishing and play a pivotal role in shaping how our brand interacts with the world.

What will you do?

• Develop and execute a comprehensive community strategy that fosters a welcoming, active, and passionate environment for our players.
• Act as the voice of the community within our studio by managing social media channels, participating in forums, and coordinating community playtests to provide actionable feedback to our developers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with influencers, creators, and fan sites while utilizing data-driven insights to track sentiment and measure the success of our engagement initiatives.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a creative problem solver with a deep love for the gaming industry and a proven track record in community management. To succeed in this role, you should bring the following:

• Extensive experience managing communities for indie or AAA games, with proficiency in platforms like Discord, Reddit, TikTok, and Steam Forums.
• Strong copywriting skills and the ability to act as a visible, engaging figurehead for our brand.
• A data-oriented mindset, including familiarity with social media tracking tools and the ability to translate community feedback into clear, actionable reports.
• A collaborative spirit and the desire to work in a startup-style atmosphere where you are comfortable getting your hands dirty to support cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English.
