The role
We are seeking a Senior Community Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a leadership-level position for someone who wants to own our community strategy from the ground up. You will be the primary voice of our players within the studio, helping us grow our community from its first member to millions while fostering a space where our most dedicated fans feel heard and valued.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive community strategy that positions us as a top-tier destination for gamers.
- Act as the internal advocate for our player base by managing social media channels, moderating forums, and representing our brand at live events.
- Use data-driven insights and key performance indicators to measure the success of community initiatives and provide actionable recommendations to our development and marketing teams.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in community management within the gaming industry, whether in indie or AAA environments. We value candidates who are comfortable in a startup atmosphere and are ready to get their hands dirty. Your qualifications should include:
- Proven expertise in managing community platforms such as Discord, Reddit, TikTok, and Steam Forums.
- Experience coordinating playtests and funneling player feedback back to development teams.
- Strong skills in copywriting, content creation, and crisis communication.
- Familiarity with social media tracking tools and a passion for staying ahead of platform algorithms.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across product, marketing, and operations teams.
Compensation and benefits
