Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Community Manager to join us on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. You will report directly to the VP of Marketing at Megabit Publishing, serving as the primary voice of our community while working closely with our development teams to ensure our players' visions are heard.

Your impact

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive community strategy that fosters a passionate, active, and engaged player base across all our titles.
• Community Voice and Advocacy: Act as the bridge between our players and our internal teams by managing social media, facilitating playtests, and representing our brand at live events.
• Data-Driven Growth: Utilize community sentiment, social media metrics, and KPIs to provide actionable insights that inform our development and marketing decisions.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem-solver who is comfortable working in a startup-style environment. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in community management within the video game industry, whether at an indie or AAA studio.
• Deep familiarity with platforms like Discord, Reddit, TikTok, and Steam Forums, as well as experience managing influencer partnerships and live streams.
• Strong expertise in organizing playtests and funneling player feedback back to development teams.
• Exceptional copywriting skills and a creative approach to content creation.
• A data-oriented mindset with the ability to track social media trends and community health effectively.
• Fluency in English.
