Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our technical office in Rome. This is a contractor position that requires you to be on-site full-time, Monday through Friday. You will be an integral part of our team, applying your senior-level expertise to complex infrastructure challenges.
Your impact
- Lead the design, calculation, and structural modeling of civil infrastructure, including bridges, viaducts, road structures, and bulkheads.
- Take charge of reviewing and verifying structural designs to ensure safety and precision.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation while providing essential support to our construction site management teams.
What you'll need
- A degree in Civil or Building Engineering with a structural focus, plus active professional registration.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in structural design and verification for civil infrastructure.
- Proficiency in structural calculation software like SAP2000 or MIDAS, alongside AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong familiarity with national technical standards like NTC 2018 and international Eurocodes.
- Excellent communication skills in Italian and a good command of English.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage complex projects independently.
- Willingness to travel for short trips within Italy or abroad.
- Experience with BIM workflows is considered a significant advantage.
