We are AICrete, the world's first company to bring artificial intelligence to the concrete materials industry. Our platform, AICreteOS, utilizes machine learning and computer vision to transform construction efficiency, sustainability, and profitability. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity within the United States to help us scale our innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Architect and build reliable server-side logic using Django and various Python frameworks.
Work closely with our frontend team to ensure smooth integration and a high-quality user experience.
Write clean, reusable, and efficient code that powers our core applications.
Optimize our systems for maximum speed, responsiveness, and performance.
Maintain strong security protocols and data protection measures.
Oversee hosting environments, handle database administration, and manage application scaling to meet demand.

Must-haves

Extensive professional experience in backend development with a deep focus on Django.
Advanced proficiency in Python and its associated libraries.
Solid understanding of building and integrating RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL.
Strong command of Git for version control.
Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.
Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Background or interest in the construction or concrete materials industry.
