We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Reliability Team on a full-time, remote basis. You will play a vital role in maintaining the performance, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities

• Champion system observability by implementing and refining automated processes for our business-critical services.
• Drive the adoption of Service Level Objectives to ensure high customer satisfaction and system performance.
• Partner with development teams to design scalable, reliable solutions while optimizing our cloud infrastructure costs.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in reliability, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven track record of 3 or more years working with AWS to build effective monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Expert-level knowledge of Linux, Docker, and distributed systems principles.
• Strong programming proficiency in languages such as Python or Go.
• A deep understanding of security best practices and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across teams.
