Senior Audio Signal Processing Developer at Owl Labs

We are looking for a Senior Audio Signal Processing Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a company, we specialize in creating inclusive meeting and learning experiences through our innovative Meeting Owl product line, which uses advanced 360-degree camera and audio technology to bridge the gap between remote and in-office participants. Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated audio signal processing algorithms tailored for real-time communication systems.
• Optimize audio enhancement features, such as echo cancellation and noise reduction, by utilizing both traditional analytic methods and modern AI techniques.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate these audio solutions into our broader product ecosystem while conducting research on emerging technologies to maintain our competitive edge.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in engineering and a passion for high-quality audio. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline with a focus on signal processing.
• At least 8 years of professional experience in audio signal processing and DSP, ideally within the communications or conferencing industry.
• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and Matlab, with a proven ability to optimize code for embedded systems.
• A solid understanding of real-time audio processing, low-latency architectures, and industry-standard audio protocols.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex mathematical concepts into production-ready software.
