Security Engineer, Application Security at Foundry Technologies, Inc.

At Foundry, we are fundamentally changing how AI companies interact with compute power. We are building a specialized public cloud designed to make high-performance compute as reliable and simple as flipping a switch. Spun out of a Stanford PhD lab just over a year ago, we are backed by top-tier investors like Sequoia and Lightspeed, and we have already secured significant funding and revenue. We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis to help us build the infrastructure that will power the future of AI.

What you'll be doing

• You will lead the development of our security infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring that our AI cloud platform, customer data, and high-performance workloads remain secure at every stage.
• You will design and integrate security measures directly into our orchestration platform, focusing on containerized environments like Kubernetes and implementing zero-trust architectures to protect data flows.
• You will identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in our Python and TypeScript codebases while using Terraform to maintain secure, compliant infrastructure as code across our distributed cloud environments.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in software or security engineering. You should have a deep understanding of modern adversary tactics and a passion for protecting AI and machine learning workloads. Your technical toolkit should include:

• Expertise in Python and TypeScript for production-level development.
• Strong experience with Cloud Security across major providers.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and Terraform for secure infrastructure management.
• A solid grasp of zero-trust architectures, encryption protocols, and security testing methodologies.
• Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our team.

What you'll get

The salary range for this position is $170,000 to $250,000 USD, depending on your specific expertise and experience. In addition to your salary, you will receive the following benefits:
