We are Camus Energy, a company dedicated to building software that helps new power generation and load connect to the grid more efficiently. We are looking for a Sales Director to join our remote team and help us accelerate the transition to clean energy by navigating complex deals within the data center sector.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for North American hyperscalers and data center developers to drive significant revenue growth.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and the creation of compelling proposals.
- Collaborate with our product and professional services teams to structure and finalize multi-million dollar agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders, including owners, operators, and strategic partners.
- Represent Camus at industry forums and client engagements, with travel expected up to 20% of the time.
- Iterate on our sales approach to effectively position our industry-disrupting technology in the market.
Must-haves
- 5 to 7 years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, or hyperscale sales within the energy or data center industries.
- Proven success in technical selling, specifically with early-stage products that require a flexible and consultative approach.
- Strong understanding of power systems, including bulk power supply, transmission, grid interconnection, and onsite generation.
- Expertise in managing complex contract negotiations and navigating sophisticated stakeholder environments.
- Fluency in English.
- A self-motivated mindset with high integrity and a collaborative approach.
Benefits
The base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $175,000 annually, plus uncapped incentive compensation.
