We are looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative to join our growth team and help scale our outbound engine. Paragon is an embedded integration platform that allows software companies to build seamless connections across the entire SaaS ecosystem, and we are on a mission to become the universal connecting layer for all software.
Responsibilities
- Book qualified demo meetings for our account executives by targeting high-fit companies through email, cold calling, and social selling.
- Proactively research and identify new prospects that align with our ideal customer profile.
- Continuously test and refine our outreach messaging and sales tactics to improve performance.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle and documentation using Salesforce and other internal tools.
- Develop deep expertise in native SaaS integrations and technical concepts to effectively communicate our value.
- Monitor prospect news and industry updates to ensure our outreach is timely and relevant.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and key results to the team.
- Ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads to account executives by providing thorough research and context.
Must-haves
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- A solid grasp of technical concepts, including APIs, software integrations, and general tech stacks.
- Proven ability to handle objections and persist through challenges.
- A self-motivated, disciplined, and competitive mindset with a high degree of personal accountability.
- The ability to work independently as a sharp shooter while remaining a collaborative team player.
- Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of our growing business.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Salesloft.
- A technical background, such as a degree in computer science or product management, or experience from a software engineering bootcamp.
- An analytical, data-driven approach to problem-solving and sales strategy.
