At AMIRI, we are building a global luxury house that captures the spirit of California through a lens of authenticity and independence. Rooted in Los Angeles, our brand has grown from a local vision into a major player on the international stage, marked by our biannual presence at Paris Fashion Week and an expanding network of retail flagships. We are committed to creativity and innovation, and we invite you to join a team that values high-quality craftsmanship as we continue our trajectory as one of the fastest-growing names in the luxury fashion market.
The role
We are looking for a Mid-Level RTW Designer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Italy. In this position, you will play a vital role in our design studio, working closely with our leadership to translate our artistic vision into reality. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative professional with a few years of experience to help shape the aesthetic of a brand that is constantly evolving.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Design on daily operations and seasonal projects, including conducting trend research and maintaining digital design boards.
- Manage the end-to-end technical process by creating and maintaining Tech Packs, coordinating with the technical design team, and overseeing the organization of trims, labels, and fabrics for prototypes.
- Support the broader team during fittings, style outs, and ecommerce photoshoots to ensure our creative standards are met across all product categories.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in design and a passion for the luxury market. We require the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of professional design experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and digital sketching tools like Procreate.
- Deep knowledge of materials, trims, and the technical aspects of garment construction, with a preference for experience in tailoring, denim, or cut and sew.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication across cross-functional teams.
- A high taste level and a collaborative mindset, with a preference for candidates who have prior experience within the luxury fashion sector.
- Fluency in English.
Compensation and benefits
We believe in supporting our employees both professionally and personally. As part of our team, you will enjoy:
- A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- A flexible work schedule to help balance your professional and personal life.
- Ample opportunities for growth and collaboration within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
How to apply
If you are a visionary individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for luxury design, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application, including your portfolio and resume, to be considered for this opportunity to help shape the future of AMIRI.
