What is this role?
We are looking for a Research & Strategy Director to join our team on a contract basis. This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of product development and business strategy. You will report directly to the Head of Design and play a pivotal role in shaping our research function. Because our teams are small and highly senior, we need someone who is comfortable working in a hands-on capacity while simultaneously driving high-level strategy across the organization.
What will you do?
- Partner with our product, design, and data teams to synthesize insights that inform our long-term product roadmaps and overall business vision.
- Apply a hypothesis-driven approach to solve complex problems, ensuring that our designs are grounded in a deep understanding of both user behavior and business drivers.
- Collaborate across departments to conceptualize and deliver multi-platform applications while evaluating post-launch results to optimize our products.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in mixed-methods research and a proven ability to influence executive stakeholders. We value candidates who can navigate ambiguity and balance technical constraints with high design quality. Key requirements include:
- Over 10 years of experience in research for B2C or B2B2C digital products.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to persuasively present and defend your strategic synthesis.
- A track record of improving team efficiency through better processes and workflows.
- Proficiency in using data analytics and qualitative research to validate project KPIs.
- Fluency in English and a collaborative mindset that welcomes diverse perspectives.
