We are looking for a Research Scientist Intern to join our team at Whiterabbit.ai, where we use artificial intelligence to detect cancer early and improve patient outcomes. By partnering with top medical schools and utilizing one of the world’s largest cancer datasets, we build tools that help doctors provide more accurate and efficient care.
Responsibilities
- Design and build the algorithms and models that drive our core products.
- Train your models using our dedicated, high-performance compute cluster designed specifically for deep learning.
- Collaborate directly with medical professionals to address critical health challenges using their domain expertise.
- Engage with the broader research community by collaborating with universities and publishing your findings.
- Create scalable classifiers and detectors to solve complex, real-world problems.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and deep learning research.
- Conduct innovative research focused on computer vision applications in the medical field.
Must-haves
- A strong background in both theoretical and empirical research.
- Proficiency in Python and experience working with a deep learning framework.
- Practical experience with deep learning and convolutional networks.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- A history of contributing to the research community, including publications at conferences like CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, ECCV, ICML, or ICLR.
- Experience managing large-scale machine learning projects involving terabytes of data.
- The ability to implement custom operations or modules within a deep learning framework.
- A high level of curiosity, ambition, and creative problem-solving skills.
