The opportunity

We are seeking a Public Relations Associate to help us amplify our brand and share our story with the world. You will report to our Public Relations Manager and play a key role in planning and executing creative campaigns that resonate with everyone from school officials and parents to federal policymakers. This is a unique chance to work within a dynamic marketing team where your efforts will directly support our goal of making zero-emission transportation the standard for schools across the country.

A day in the life

• You will draft compelling press releases, media pitches, and case studies that highlight our mission and impact.
• You will manage incoming media requests and proactively build relationships with journalists and industry contacts to secure coverage.
• You will coordinate with our leadership team to prepare them for press interviews and ensure our messaging remains consistent across all platforms.

Who you are

You are a communications professional with 2 to 4 years of experience in public relations or corporate messaging. You have a strong grasp of media relations, copywriting, and project management. You are comfortable navigating tools like Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and you have a proven track record of running successful PR campaigns. Because you will be communicating our mission to a wide audience, you must have excellent written and oral English skills. You are organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, and ready to contribute to a forward-thinking organization.
