The role
We are looking for a mid-level Project Engineer to join our team in Arizona on a full-time, on-site basis. This position is perfect for a driven professional who is ready to take ownership of civil engineering projects from their initial conception all the way through to final completion. You will be a vital part of our engineering group, providing technical leadership and ensuring that our projects meet the high standards our clients expect.
Core responsibilities
- Apply your technical expertise to guide civil engineering designers and specialists while overseeing various project areas.
- Perform internal quality assurance reviews on all staff work to ensure accuracy before final management approval.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their design questions and resolving any project issues with efficiency and professionalism.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a solid foundation in civil engineering and a commitment to excellence. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Current registration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona, though we also welcome applications from highly experienced designers capable of performing advanced engineering duties.
- Three to five years of hands-on experience in civil engineering, specifically regarding water, utility, drainage, and pipeline design.
- Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and ArcGIS.
- Proven experience in creating comprehensive construction plans and documents, including survey data processing, base map development, and utility conflict identification.
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, paired with a detail-oriented mindset.
