Product Marketing Manager at Secondfrontsystems

We are Second Front Systems, a rapidly growing organization operating at the intersection of national security and innovative technology. Founded by former U.S. Marines, we are dedicated to helping defense professionals access the latest commercial technologies to maintain a competitive edge. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and real-world mission needs, helping us shape our narrative for both commercial and government sectors. Please note that due to the nature of our government contracts, this position requires U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy, including the creation of sales collateral, whitepapers, webinars, and training materials for diverse audiences.
• Lead the end-to-end launch process for new products and feature releases, ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration and the maintenance of go-to-market playbooks.
• Act as the primary bridge between our marketing and product teams, using market research and competitive analysis to influence product roadmaps and drive long-term growth.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in product marketing, ideally with a background in managing product lines before moving into marketing.
• A strong technical foundation, specifically with experience in DevSecOps principles.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of developing teams and working effectively within cross-functional task forces.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, engaging narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within the federal or public sector, particularly in defense, is highly preferred.
• A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
