Our product, CoLab, is the world’s first Design Engagement System, a category-defining platform that engineering teams use to engage in meaningful, productive design conversations, catch preventable mistakes, and reach the market faster. Our customers include the largest engineering organizations in the world, such as Ford, Johnson Controls, Komatsu, and Polaris, spanning the industrial equipment, consumer products, automotive, aerospace and defense, and shipbuilding industries.
Key outcomes
- Complete customer and user research, maintain roadmaps, brainstorm solutions to problems, and discuss proposals and designs for new ideas with cross-functional teams.
- Write clear and concise product requirements and create marker sketches to capture the vision, goals, and key elements of new products and features.
- Represent business goals and solutions, working cross-functionally to solve challenges in feature development and arrive at the optimal outcome for the product and our customers.
- Collaborate across many teams at CoLab to communicate product requirements and deliver features, striving for the best customer experience and making smart compromises as necessary.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Product Management experience.
- Track record of working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including design, development, QA, and security, to successfully deliver new product features.
- Ability to understand complex problems and shape simple solutions.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategy and roadmap.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
- A mechanical engineering or product design background in 3D viewing.
